Lateral officers earn a base pay up to - $103,813/year PLUS incentives up to 35% above base pay

Lateral officer qualifications:
Active Certification: Hold an active Police Officer certification from the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) in Oregon, or an out of state equivalent.

Probationary Experience: Have successfully completed a probationary period of at least one year with a law enforcement agency as a sworn officer.

Recent Employment: Be employed as a full-time sworn officer within the past five years.

Entry level officers earn a base pay up to $103,809/year
+ up to 14% incentive pay for specialty teams
+ up to 21% incentive pay for education and certifications
